Franklin Arts Festival

Every 3 years Franklin has an Arts Festival. In 2015 Dale and Vanessa organised our school entries. They provided guidance to teachers about the brief which was " Maori Artists"
They provided guidance and suggested artists. They also suggested that the teachers collected student voice about the process along the way to creating their pieces.
Alongside guiding the other staff  Dale  created some weaving art with her class. Dale and Vanessa also took the art work and mounted it at the Venue.
We were very pleased that we received 1st place overall for our Art Display. Dale represented the school and collected the award.
